21/1/19:?We’ve already seen the Snapdragon-powered S10+ crop up on Geekbench (below), and now Samsung’s UK-bound Exynos-powered Galaxy S10 has made an appearance.?
At least that’s according to notorious tipster Evan Blass, who tweeted on Tuesday (below) that the Galaxy S10 will be the first to feature a ‘punch hole’ selfie camera – adopting Samsung’s recently-teased ‘Infinity O’ display technology.
The flimsy construction and the frail acrylic structure outweigh the benefits. Simply put, this printer will not survive field work. Any jostle sends the user back to re-calibrate, the exposed electronics are a huge hazard, and the power supply sparks whenever I plug it in, which is often because there’s no power switch. It’s clunky, unwieldy, delicate, occupies a huge amount of space, and there’s no way to pack it down for transport. The quality is bad, but there’s a huge support community who’ve come up with dozens of mods to make this thing print even better. It could be a great printer, but you’re probably better off just buying a more expensive machine.
The process generally produced good results with larger, well-lit objects that don’t have overlapping elements or large holes in them, like people. It did an impressive job with both a head-and-shoulders scan and a full-person scan, building the 3D mesh (the mesh of scanned points and surfaces that form the object) and then creating a simple final object from this data.

4/3/19:?The Galaxy S10 hasn’t made its way onto shelves yet, but it has made it into the hands of Zack Nelson of JerryRigEverything who has put the smartphone through a series of endurance tests.
The?prototype for the 3D printed house cost?around $10,000, but the company claims that it can bring that down to?only $4000, which is great news. The approximate build time for ICON’s 3D printed house is roughly 24h.
You can even use the S10 to wirelessly charge another device, like Samsung’s new Galaxy Buds headphones or Galaxy Watch Active smartwatch, but I haven’t really found much use for this feature beyond showing it off.
